Afternoons spent at my grandmother's side, learning to cook our traditional foods.  Hasu was our favorite, the crunchy root of the lotus blossom.  A plant that grows in murky pond water only to emerge beautiful; it's often a lucky symbol.  
All components are handmade from the large teardrop hoops to the hand formed lotus blossoms. Hammer textured with a pebbled finish to catch the light.
