Heliconia is one of the most vivid and showy plants in a tropical jungle.  Their large bracts hide tiny flowers with sweet nectar. I wanted to recreate the lush and vibrant colors of the heliconia and made these showstoppers
They start off as a sheet of silver and are then sawed out into shields A layer of silver dust is fused to the surface for an organically textured backdrop for the sleek waterfall of color.
The heliconia design is entirely original and hand beaded representing eternal youth and beauty.
