Kalo nourished and fed the first people in Hawaiian lore. The root makes poi, the stems are medicine, and the leaf can be boiled or steamed for food. 
These little leaves represent Hawaiian heritage, strength, and our connection with nature.
Starting from a sheet of silver, they are drawn onto the metal and then sawn out.  There are variances with the veining just like in nature.  The leaf measures about 1" long and 3/4" across.
